Each year, Miss Kansas Dance Festival hosts a College Dance Panel and Q+A on Friday evening, connecting high school dancers with current college dance team members.

This interactive session gives dancers an inside look at life on a college dance team — from auditioning and training to balancing academics and athletics. Our panelists share their personal journeys, advice, and insight into what it takes to succeed at the collegiate level.

Dancers will walk away with:

• Real-world perspective on the college dance experience

• Motivation and mentorship from current college athletes

• Practical guidance on preparing for auditions and managing college life​

This session is open to all high school dancers attending Miss Kansas and has quickly become one of the most inspiring parts of the weekend.
