ELISE VILLARREAL

Elise began dancing at the age of two and has trained extensively in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, funk, commercial hip hop, popping, pointe, and rockette tap. She is a graduate of Diane’s School of Dance and the Park Hill High School Dance Team, competing in pom, jazz, and hip hop. Elise is a former member and leader of the William Jewell College Crimson Dancers, where she helped lead the team to NDA Collegiate Nationals and choreographed for multiple seasons. She earned her BA in Written Communication and Technical Live Performance from William Jewell College in 2023. She has taught and instructed dance classes at Academy of the Arts in Shawnee, MelRoe’s School of Dance in Liberty, Encore at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, Allen Village Charter School in Kansas City, KIPP Endeavor Charter School in Kansas City, and Next Paige Studios in Kansas City. In 2023 she signed with a professional talent agency where she auditions for and books industry jobs locally and out-of-state. Along with this experience, she also continues to train and perform with two local hip hop companies for business events, fashion shows, and NFL tailgates. With 17 years of dance experience and 6 years of teaching, Elise is a full-time dance instructor and professional dancer teaching competition hip hop groups and solos, currently instructing at Academy of the Arts and MelRoe’s School of Dance, with a strong focus on technique, foundation, and performance quality
